The right slopes for me?
Excellent: The wide open slopes are perfect for those new and improving on the snow. The local ski school offers quality group and private tuition with English speaking instructors.
Good: The well maintained slopes are beautifully quiet and peaceful offering the perfect stage to hone your technique and explore the area.
Average: There a few more challenging runs for the advanced skier as well as some technical areas and parks.
Incredible: With nearly 200km of cross-country trails across Ruka and the nearby town of Kuusamo, this is one of the best resorts in the world for the budding or established cross-country enthusiast. Many of our cabins have trails right past their doorstep and the local ski school offers excellent tuition.
Good: There is both a snowpark and a super pipe in Ruka. The snowpark has a choice of difficulties from beginner to advanced and tuition is available from the local ski school.
